4th time’s a charm. After THREE rainout dates for our grade 6’s. We were able to hold our first STF track day this week. The students rocked it and we had some impressive feats. Shoutout to our Gr. 9 volunteers for all of their help.

Tonight was also the Indigenous Services Year-End Celebration, a beautiful evening recognizing the positive impact Indigenous Services has on students, families, and our schools.

We are especially proud of Rachel Flett (Grade 9) and Avalyn Steele (Grade 8), who were recognized during the celebration. While Avalyn was unfortunately unable to attend after falling sick, we want her and Rachel to know how proud we are of them and all they have accomplished this year!!!

A special thank you to Mr. Jon Mauro for representing our St. Francis team and presenting on behalf of our school community.

The evening was a wonderful reminder of the importance of connection, culture, belonging, and the many people who work tirelessly to support student success. Congratulations to all those recognized, and thank you to Indigenous Services for the meaningful difference you make every day!!

There’s no place like… St. Francis?

Tonight our Grade 7 Musical Theatre students took us on a magical journey down the Yellow Brick Road with their performance of The Wizard of Oz. We are incredibly proud of the courage, creativity, and dedication they demonstrated throughout the term and on stage tonight!!

A special thank you to Mrs. Finnigan for her passion and commitment to Fine Arts at St. Francis. As she prepares to begin a new chapter at St. Joseph School, we thank her for the lasting impact she has had on our students and wish her every success in the future.

Congratulations to our talented performers on an outstanding showcase!

The weather forecast has led us to make the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Grade 6 Track and Field Day. While we know this news will be disappointing, the safety and well-being of our students comes first.

Grade 6 students will attend school as usual and follow their regular timetable tomorrow.

What an incredible way to wrap up the year with our annual band concert!

Thank you to all of our talented band students and supportive families for an amazing evening of music and celebration.

A very special thank you to Mrs. Kathleen McLaren for her dedication to our Wolfpack musicians. Last night’s concert marked her final performance as a Wolf as she prepares to take on the full-time band program at Camille J. Lerouge. While we will miss her dearly, we couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter in her career.

Thank you, Mrs. McLaren, for sharing your passion and talents with our students. Once a Wolf, always a Wolf. 🐺🎺
