4th time’s a charm. After THREE rainout dates for our grade 6’s. We were able to hold our first STF track day this week. The students rocked it and we had some impressive feats. Shoutout to our Gr. 9 volunteers for all of their help.

Tonight was also the Indigenous Services Year-End Celebration, a beautiful evening recognizing the positive impact Indigenous Services has on students, families, and our schools.
We are especially proud of Rachel Flett (Grade 9) and Avalyn Steele (Grade 8), who were recognized during the celebration. While Avalyn was unfortunately unable to attend after falling sick, we want her and Rachel to know how proud we are of them and all they have accomplished this year!!!
A special thank you to Mr. Jon Mauro for representing our St. Francis team and presenting on behalf of our school community.
The evening was a wonderful reminder of the importance of connection, culture, belonging, and the many people who work tirelessly to support student success. Congratulations to all those recognized, and thank you to Indigenous Services for the meaningful difference you make every day!!

The weather forecast has led us to make the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Grade 6 Track and Field Day. While we know this news will be disappointing, the safety and well-being of our students comes first.
Grade 6 students will attend school as usual and follow their regular timetable tomorrow.
