Alligator Room

Today, the Alligator children enjoyed a Floor Is Lava STEM challenge, working together to build bridges with popsicle sticks and cups to help animals cross the “lava.” They developed creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and engineering skills while designing and testing their structures.

Koala Room
Today in Koala room the children explored honeycombs with butterflies and bees. During the activity they displayed their playful disposition when using their imagination.

Owl Room

Owl children explored water flow by using pool noodles as tubes to guide water between containers. They tested their ideas, added gems and sea creatures to extend their play, and worked together to develop creativity, problem-solving, cooperation, and persistence.

Sloth Room

Sloth children nurtured their playing and participating dispositions as they built their ice cube towers. Through this play, children experimented with action and reaction and cause and effect while strengthening their problem-solving skills as they explored how to balance and stack the ice cubes to build their towers.

Gecko Room
Today Gecko children mixed together “potions” . This activity allowed children the chance to exercise their seeking and playful dispiositions as they imagined they were making potions.

Pony Room
What Will You Discover in the Insect World?

Pony children explored an insect sensory bin. They used their curiosity to investigate the materials, notice different textures, and discover where insects might live. This open-ended experience encouraged the children to explore, wonder, make connections, and develop their own ideas through play.

Alligator Room

Today, Alligator children explored creativity, sensory experiences, and fine-motor skills through an open-ended Cheerios craft activity. The children were invited to use Cheerios, colorful pipe cleaners, paper, and marker to create their own unique designs. Some children explored making bracelets and patterns with the Cheerios, while others experimented with arranging and decorating the materials in their own ways.
