Chief Macy is on the job! 👩🚒🔥
We were on hand to capture some incredible moments yesterday as Macy, a grade 5 student at Holy Family School took over the reins at Red Deer Emergency Services.
Between testing out all the gear in the fire hall and her official swearing in in front of The City of Red Deer City Council, she handled her duties like a pro (with her friend, and deputy, Alexine right by her side).
Swipe to see the highlights of our newest Fire Chief in action!

Earlier today, we came together as a community in Christ for our Annual Faith Day Celebration at St. Joseph High School.
Thank you to Fr. Paul Kavanagh for leading our celebration of mass to kick off our joyous day, and to our two keynotes: David Wells and Jordan St Cyr.
It was an incredibly moving and inspiring day.
