Preschoolers are not known for pretending to like things.

They’ll tell you the snack was wrong, the blue cup was supposed to be the green cup, and that the song you just sang was, in fact, NOT the right song.

So when a three- or four-year-old is excited to walk through the door every day?

That’s a pretty good review.

We have had such a wonderful first couple of weeks in the program! We are enjoying seeing the children settle in, explore new activities, and interact with new peers.

Play has included sensory bins, small group tabletop games, our new climbing structure, blocks, kitchen, and so much more. We are seeing some awesome play skills already! It’s going to be a fabulous year of growth for these little communicators. 🌱

Our Summer Reading Intensive was one for the books! 📚☀️ This summer’s crew made some seriously awesome progress and had a lot of fun along the way. We are so proud of the growth, the effort, and the confidence these kids built session by session. Structured literacy works, and watching it click is our favorite part of the job. 🙌

It’s been a fun time with our teddy bear picnic, gardening, and farmer’s market activities! Children continue to expand their play skills to include more dramatic play. They went on a bear hunt with binoculars they made! They also grew fruits and vegetables for the market.
