On Friday, leaders from our grade 8 classes, attended the Horizons Leadership Conference in Sylvan Lake.
Throughout the day, they heard inspiring Keynote presentations about transforming anxious thoughts into excited energy, and the importance of surrounding yourself with positive supportive peers.
Student students also participated in interactive activities that help them build connections with other school leaders and gather ideas to bring back to strengthen our own school community.
A heartfelt thank you to the Canadian student leadership council for hosting such an empowering event!
