Meet our Back to the Cross Runners! 🏃♂️🏃♀️
These students have a very important job: making sure each class sprints on stage at just the right moment. Think of them as the superheroes of timing… capes optional, running shoes required! Thank you students for all your hard work!

This week, our Kindergarten to Grade Two students are all smiles as they take part in our fluoride and dental sealant program with our dental hygienists! 😁🦷✨
A big step in keeping those smiles strong and healthy—because learning is always better with a confident smile!

How would YOU catch a leprechaun? 🍀 The students in 1E have been busy brainstorming their ideas, writing about their plans, and building some very clever leprechaun traps. We’re hoping our hard work — and a little luck — might bring us a visitor!

Seeing double today… or is it just all the Irish charm?

Today we kept things fresh and festive for St. Patrick’s Day with a fun (and crunchy!) twist… 💚🥒
It was Cucumber Day at St. Martin de Porres! Every student was treated to a mini cucumber — because nothing says green celebration like a healthy snack that crunches as loud as our school spirit! 😄
Who knew being “green” could taste so good?!

1MC had so much fun celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀
We worked hard building leprechaun traps to try and catch a sneaky leprechaun… but he was just too tricky for us! Luckily, he left behind some fun surprises for our class. 🌈✨
What a lucky day in 1MC!

Grade 2 students became global traders today! Through a fun snack trade simulation, they negotiated deals, tracked imports and exports, and discovered how countries rely on one another. A surprise delivery of Timbits from our “donor nation” made the lesson even sweeter! 🌎🍎

The Grade 2 classrooms transformed into bustling global marketplaces today! To bring our lessons to life, students participated in a hands-on trade simulation. Each student started as a representative of their own nation with a good to export. We used different foods like fruits, veggies, crackers, and cheese. They had to negotiate, trade, and track their “exports” and “imports” to build a snack plate that they wanted. Some resources were more scarce than others, so students had to be savvy to negotiate trade deals that were beneficial to both nations. We even explored the concept of Foreign Aid when a “Donor Nation” (the teachers!) introduced Timbits as a surprise luxury resource! It was a fun, delicious way to see how countries rely on one another to thrive.
