👵💛 Happy Grandparents Day! 💛👴

Today we celebrate the grandparents who bring so much love, wisdom, laughter, and faith into the lives of their families.

“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” — Romans 12:12

What a beautiful reminder of the example grandparents can be—encouraging us to find joy, persevere through challenges, and remain faithful in prayer.

To all the grandparents in our NorthStar community, thank you for the love, prayers, stories, and wisdom you share with the next generation. Your impact reaches farther than you may ever know.

🍪 Throwback Thursday: A Little Taste of Norway!

Throwback Thursday has us going back to a day that was pretty krumkake-tastic!

Our NorthStar students had the chance to visit the Norwegian Laft Hus and get a hands-on taste of Norwegian-Canadian culture!

🍪 We rolled krumkake cookies (and happily learned that cultural learning can be delicious!)
🎯 We tried traditional games and activities
🧺 We learned about Norwegian crafts and traditions
🔎 We explored artifacts and discovered more about the people and culture behind them

There was plenty of learning, laughing, playing—and maybe a little cookie sampling along the way! 😉

Let's just say this field trip was one for the books… and the cookie jar! ❤️
