β³οΈ GSTS Mini Golf Masters was a hole-in-one success! Our Grade 3 students put their learning into action by designing and creating mini golf holes through a Project-Based Learning experience. Using their knowledge of measurement, angles, and lines, they planned, built, tested, and hosted an exciting mini golf event for our school community. We are so proud of their creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork!

Our Grade 1 students had an amazing day exploring Sunnybrook Farm in Red Deer! πΎπ From learning about life on the farm to meeting animals and exploring historic buildings, it was a day full of hands-on learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Grade 3 put their creativity on display at our Poetry Cafe! βπ Students explored four different types of poetry and worked hard to create their own unique poems to share with family and friends. What an incredible experience at the APEGA Science Olympics in Calgary! π¬π
Glendale was proud to bring 40 students from Grades 1 and 3β6 to participate in a day filled with hands-on learning, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving. Our students represented GSTS with enthusiasm, curiosity, and outstanding sportsmanship while taking part in a variety of exciting STEM challenges.
A huge thank you goes out to our amazing teacher coaches for the countless hours spent preparing students during practices and for dedicating their Saturday to supporting our teams at the Science Olympics. Your commitment, encouragement, and passion helped make this experience possible for our students! ππ

Join us on Wednesday, May 20th as GSTS classes head outside to help keep our school and community clean and green! Students will be working together with their classes to pick up litter and make a positive impact on our environment.
We encourage all students to bring a pair of gardening gloves from home to help safely collect waste during the clean up.
