One of the biggest mistakes I see clients making, is ignoring the signs of insulin imbalance. This can manifest itself in a number of ways including:
➡️ poor energy levels (especially in the afternoon)
➡️ feeling hangry, shaky or lightheaded between meals
➡️ mood swings, depression, anxiety
➡️ cravings for sweets and carbs every day
I love teaching clients how to recognize these imbalances and effective strategies for correcting them. Chronically elevated insulin levels contribute to weight gain and obesity and can lead to metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes. High insulin levels facilitate fat storage and cause inflammation in the body contributing to a whole host of other problems.
When you work with me, we dig deeper into what’s really going on in your body and use strategies such as meal timing, food combining, and whole food nutrition to get your body back into optimal range.
