Rawdon Elementary School Community

When we started the Friendship Run a few years ago with our friends at Joliette Elementary School, our goal was simple: bring our up-north school communities together and build real connections. Today, at our 4th annual run, Heritage Elementary School - SWLSB joined in our tradition. Something truly special happened that captured the entire spirit of the day.
As the top runners neared the end of the 3km course, three boys from the 3 different schools did something unforgettable—they crossed the finish line holding hands, choosing to share 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place together. 🤝✨
That single moment showed what true sportsmanship and friendship are all about. We couldn't be prouder of their leadership and heart!

After the run, all three schools shared lunch and spent the afternoon conquering the trees together at Arbraska. Hearing the laughter echo through the trees was the perfect end to an incredible day.

A massive congratulations to EVERY single runner who tackled the 3km run today! You represented our school with pride. 🏅🌲 Thank you to the CLC: Quebec’s Community School Network for making this possible.

Let’s make history again, RES! 🌟
Two years ago, Rawdon Elementary was named Canada’s best Terry Fox School Challenge winner! 🇨🇦🏆 We will never forget the incredible feeling of wearing our Terry Fox t-shirts with absolute pride.
This year, the Terry Fox Marathon of Hope is back, and we have a big goal to reach. RES is trying to raise $1,500! 💰✨
If our amazing students and community reach this objective, the whole school will celebrate with a Pajama Day and a Pizza Lunch! 🍕🛌 The students are already so excited and can’t wait to earn their reward.
Please help us support cancer research and reach our goal. Terry’s legacy lives and will always live on at RES. ❤️
Go RES, Go! 👏 💪

🎨✨ Art, creativity, and community! ✨🎨

We are so proud of our students and the incredible mural they created in collaboration with the students from École Marie-Anne! 🖌️💙

This special project gave our students the opportunity to work together, share their creativity, and create something that will become a part of our beautiful community. These beautiful murals will soon be bringing colour and joy to locations throughout the beautiful town of Rawdon! 🌿🏘️

A huge thank you to Canadian Heritage and a special thank you to Jean-Pierre Arcand and Rachel Duprez for working with and teaching our students . 🇨🇦❤️

We can’t wait to see these beautiful murals displayed around Rawdon and to share them with our community! Way to go, artists! 🎨👏
