🧠 MindMotion Kids™. Ages 5–7
Focus • Move • Think • Create
MindMotion Kids™ is a 24-week, screen-free developmental enrichment program that combines movement, drawing, rhythm, memory, visual thinking, coordination, and playful problem-solving.
Instead of asking children to sit still and complete more worksheets, we give them opportunities to **learn through movement, creativity, interaction, and challenge.**
Why does this matter for school?
A child doesn't learn only by knowing facts.
To participate successfully in school, children also need to be able to:
✓ Listen and follow directions
✓ Pay attention to a task
✓ Remember information
✓ Recognize patterns and relationships
✓ Coordinate what they see with what they do
✓ Solve problems
✓ Shift attention between activities
✓ Persist when something is difficult

MindMotion Kids™ gives children regular opportunities to practice these foundational learning skills.

Our approach combines movement and cognitive activities because children learn through their whole body.
Children participate in activities involving:

Rhythm, balance, body awareness and coordinated movement.
🎨 **Drawing & Creative Thinking**
Visual expression, patterns, imagination and hands-on challenges.
🔎 **Memory & Attention**
Observation, recall, sequences and concentration.
🧩 **Problem-Solving**
Matching, patterns, reasoning and age-appropriate challenges.
🔄 **Bilateral Activities**
Activities that coordinate movements on both sides of the body while engaging attention and visual thinking.
🌿 **Emotional Awareness**
Activities that encourage children to pause, refocus, recognize feelings and persist through challenges.
FROM PLAY TO LEARNING SKILLS
A child may come to class thinking they're simply playing, drawing, moving and solving puzzles.
But underneath the fun, they're practicing skills that support everyday learning.
Focus → Remember → Coordinate → Think → Create → Solve
Over time, children have repeated opportunities to strengthen their confidence and independence as learners.
The goal isn't to make children work harder -
It's to make learning active, engaging and enjoyable.
TWO INSTRUCTORS. ONLY 10 CHILDREN.
Every MindMotion Kids™ class has two instructors with a maximum of 10 children.
That's approximately a: 1:5 Instructor-to-Child Ratio.
This allows our instructors to give children more individual guidance, encouragement and feedback throughout the class.
We can observe how each child participates and provide support when a challenge needs to be explained differently or adjusted.
📅 TWO CLASSES EVERY WEEK.
24-Week Program
Wednesday • 4:00–5:00 PM
Saturday • 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
Two 60-minute classes every week provide children with regular opportunities to practice and build on what they've learned.

Children who complete the 24-week program receive a MindMotion Kids™ Certificate of Completion.

A separate MindMotion Explorers™ program is available for children 8–10 years old, with a more advanced curriculum focusing on working memory, logical thinking, planning, flexible thinking, coordination and creative problem-solving.
