Correlieu alumnus, Sophie Turton! Always fantastic to hear good news stories regarding our alumni!

Next up is Sophie Turton!

Sophie grew up learning, working and playing in Quesnel, BC. Finishing up her undergraduate degree in a Bachelor’s of Health Sciences: Biomedical Studies at the University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George, she has made her home in the north of BC and looks forward to making a positive influence on rural healthcare. Outdoor education, wilderness health and safety, and land-based living are specific passions of hers, and when she’s not educating the masses you can find her paddle-boarding in the sun and (aprés) skiing in the snow.

Congratulations to Correlieu alumnus, Marco Marra, for receiving the Lifetime Contribution Prize for his work in cancer research! We are all so proud of you! BC Cancer Agency Canadian Cancer Society
