We’re happy to announce Denise Brown as the new Director of Professional and Continuing Education at Eeyou Istchee College of Science and Technology.

We are proud to announce a major milestone for Eeyou Istchee College of Science and Technology! With a $475,000 grant from the Future Skills Centre, we’re launched the Professional Development Certificate in Professional Practice, a 7-month essential skills training program based in Chisasibi.

This initiative will strengthen our local workforce by developing core professional skills, supporting career growth, and contributing to the long-term success of our communities. We are excited to invest in the potential of employees across the Cree Nation.

The Chisasibi Youth Center and Eeyou Istchee College of Science and Technology are proud to be working together on a training initiative to empower youth with real-world practical skills!
