We’ve completed a lively first week of school here in Akulivik and are looking forward to the year to come!

Thank you to everyone who came out for our school bonfire last Friday, it was great to see so many people celebrating the new school year 🎊

This week many classes took advantage of the warmer weather and got outside for some fun berry picking! 🫐🌱🫐

Tomorrow the school bus will start going around at 9:45. We will start at 10:30 in the school gym for the students to meet their teachers.

Hello Akulivik,

Tomorrow, August 12th, will be the first day of school for staff. Wednesday and Thursday will be PED days for staff only.

Friday the 14th will be the first day for students - stay tuned for what will be planned to welcome back the students.

For staff, some have already informed us that they won’t be here to start due to medical - please inform us right away if you need to be absent.
