Welcome to a cool world about learning how to drum. I grew up with music all around me. I found my way to the drums and have studied, explored, toured, and performed all over the world. My love of drums has taken me to some cool places. I started teaching about 10 years ago and I have found that exploring drums and percussion is a unique experience. Unique in that I get to help and start students

on an amazing journey in music. In my classes we focus on technique, grooves, styles, listening and using multimedia as a way to explore all aspects of music. If you’re a beginner let’s get started, if you just want to learn how to play we’ll figure out the best way to get you playing now. If you’re 60 and have always wanted to play drums let’s start, it’s never too late. I also teach congas, cajon, and may other hand drums so if you’re interested in those please contact me to set something up. Lessons are $25.00 per half hour and $45.00 per hour. If you are interested in Skype/Facetime lessons please feel free to contact me to arrange a time that works. I’m currently accepting students in the Quadra Island, Campbell River area. Please feel free to contact me if you’re interested in setting up some lessons. I’m able to create a learning environment that is suitable to you and your learning style. I offer snare drum, drum set, and hand percussion lessons. Percussion lessons include congas, djembe, bongos, cajon, etc…

Hey everyone, I've been getting a lot of requests about teaching drums online. YES, I am definitely going to start teaching online again starting in October. If anyone is interested please send me a message. My hope is to teach in-person again once COVID passes. In the meantime, online might be the best way to get started and all you need is some drums (or practice pad) a computer, and a we**am of some kind. oh and internet.
