In the Montessori Sensorial area, children enjoyed working with Color Boxes and Cylinder Blocks. These classic materials help develop visual discrimination, concentration, and fine motor skills in a joyful and hands-on way!

The children are very interested in Montessori Practical Life activities. They enjoy doing real-life tasks and building independence through hands-on learning.

The sandpaper tracing activity is a sensory learning experience that helps children recognize and form letters and numerals through touch and movement. Children traced the sandpaper letters and numerals using the correct stroke direction while saying the letter and name and sound. This activity supports fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and muscle memory for writing.

Montessori education nurtures independence, self-motivation, and a passion for learning. By recognizing each child as an individual and allowing them to progress at their own pace, this approach fosters personal growth in meaningful ways.

Concentration is the place where real learning takes place! This child is deeply concentrating on a binomial cube which will lay the foundation for algebra.

It has been such a joy to see the children caring for their environment — from washing linens and helping with daily cleanup to gently tending our plants. This week was especially special as one of our classroom plants bloomed for the first time, and the children noticed it with pride and excitement.
