Congratulations to the Class of 2026! 🎓
182 students across iiyiyiu aschii reached an important milestone this year by graduating from Secondary 5 or the Work-Oriented Training Path (WOTP).
As graduation ceremonies continue across our communities, we are proud to celebrate every member of this year’s graduating class — those who have already crossed the stage and those whose celebrations are still to come.
Each of these 182 graduates has followed their own path to get here, shaped by hard work, perseverance, growth, and the support of families, friends, teachers, school staff, and community members along the way.
To the Class of 2026: take pride in everything you have accomplished and in the work it took to reach this moment. Wherever your next chapter takes you, we hope you carry forward the knowledge, experiences, relationships, and confidence you have built along the way.

The Cree School Board is inviting proposals for Special School Transportation Services in five communities across iiyiyiu aschii.
The service period will run from September 8, 2026 to June 30, 2028.
Proposals are currently open for:
• Wabannutao Eeyou School – Eastmain
• Voyageur Memorial Elementary School – Mistissini
• Willie J. Happy Jack Memorial School – Waswanipi
• Annie Whiskeychan Memorial School – Waskaganish

The Cree School Board is seeking proposals from qualified camp operators to host the iiyiyiu/iinuu Springboard to Health Careers (HC) Physical Education 101 Land-Based Program from October 5 to 9, 2026.
We are looking for a safe, well-equipped culture camp near one of the nine iiyiyiu communities in iiyiyiu aschii to provide hands-on land-based learning experiences for students, knowledge keepers, and instructors.
