Unfortunately it seems we are down our Matimekosh driver for the remainder of the day. So parents will need to come get their children for lunch and return them after lunch and then pick them up at the end of the day. We are down to one bus driver for today unfortunately. We know this is very inconvenient and apologize for the difficulties this causes.

If you're interested in becoming a bus driver for the school we always need more backup bus drivers for these exact situations. Please contact Joseph Whelan or Denis Dagenais for details!

On behalf of Jimmy Sandy Memorial School, I would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Edmond “Animo” Méloatam. From the staff and posts of community members Edmond was an extraordinary man who loved what he did and understood the needs of children and families. Lucy stopped in to tell me that when she started Edmond went to see her with tears of joy in his eyes and told her he was proud she was undertaking the new responsibility. We will be memorializing Edmond by creating a plaque to be posted at our garage. May he rest in peace.
