We are proud to share that our school has been recognized with a 30-Year Participation Award from the Terry Fox Organization!
For 30 years, our students, staff, and families have come together to support the Terry Fox School Run and help keep Terry’s dream alive. We are grateful to everyone who has been part of this incredible tradition.
We are already looking forward to our Terry Fox fundraiser in September, including a fundraising barbecue. More information about the event, our donation link, and ways to get involved will be shared at the beginning of the new school year.

Last week, the Grade 1/2 and Grade 2/3 classes wrapped up an exciting month-long study of the butterfly life cycle. Starting with tiny caterpillars, students watched them form chrysalises and transform into beautiful butterflies before releasing them.
What a wonderful hands-on learning experience!

At Provost Public School, we believe that strong starts matter. We value the importance of early intervention and providing young learners with targeted support to help them build confidence, develop foundational skills, and experience success from their very first days of school.
We are excited to share that Mrs. Cindy Pylypow will be our Kindergarten teacher for the 2026-2027 school year! Mrs. Pylypow brings extensive experience in early learning and is a passionate advocate for supporting the whole child. As a leader in literacy, she understands the importance of building strong reading and language foundations, while also fostering the social and emotional skills that help children thrive.
Our Kindergarten program is designed to create a welcoming environment where students feel a sense of belonging, develop a love of learning, and receive the support they need to grow and succeed.
📞 Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open! Please contact the school office to register your child or to learn more about our Kindergarten program.
We look forward to welcoming our newest learners to the Provost Public School family!
