Our first frost may be threatening tonight but the garden has still been pumping 💪

Our little slice of paradise has produced over 130lbs of tomatoes this year alone 🍅

While I am looking forward to the rest that winter brings, I’m making the most of these last days in the garden ✨

Fall may be coming but the garden is still pumping!

Just cracked over 50lbs of tomatoes harvested this year from the garden 👌🏻

Well that’s a wrap on this year’s ✨

Today we finished strong by making 👇🏻

🍐 Pear c***r and puréed the solids into a delicious spiced pear sauce

🍅 Canned crushed tomatoes from our garden and got the tomatoes prepped from yesterday into the freezer dryer

🌸 Got out in the garden to harvest some herbs, veggies, berries and flowers

You can feel summer is coming to an end here, but there’ll still be lots to preserve before the frost comes around!

🌽 Fresh corn from Destiny Acres processed for the freezer

🍅 Garden tomatoes and skins processed for the freeze dryer

Day 29 of 🍑

✨ Canned diced peaches

✨ Made peach syrup from the peach skins

✨ Ground up some dried herbs such as basil, dill and more

🍑🫐 Frozen fruit in the freezer dryer

🌼 Elderberry syrup

Back at it today with Day 27 of

🍅 20lbs of romas turned into some homemade ketchup

🍑Some peaches sliced for the freeze dryer and some roasted with peppers, onions, garlic and seasonings for hot sauce

👩🏻‍🌾 Picked nearly 20lbs of tomatoes from my own garden plus some other goodies like peas and beans which were processed for the freezer

Day 20 of looked a little different for me today as I prepared some gifts for family members!

Some freeze dried candy and homemade bath bombs 🌹

On that note I’ll be taking some days off to spend time with family 💕 Be back next week!

Day 19 of was simple

My freeze dried egg powder was finally ready to be packaged up for storage 🍳

Day 18 of included a mix of food and medicine! Today we processed 👉🏻

🌼 Calendula Salve

🌹 Rose and chamomile glycerite, strained and bottled

🥦 Our local store had broccoli on sale for a great price so I blanched and chopped some up for the freezer

🍅 Picked through the tomato patch and found our first ever hornworm! Thankfully not much damage was done

♥️ Picked some more raspberries for the freezer

💛 Plus we picked some squash blossoms to fry for a late night snack
