Captain Cook cadets are at it again! Find us around town today, from Cow Bay to Shoppers.

Keep an eye out for Captain Cook cadets distributing poppies around town tomorrow and next Saturday!

This Friday, October 31, Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers can start wearing a poppy up until Remembrance Day.

This year, for the first time, Cadets and JCRs have the option of wearing an Indigenous-crafted poppy on their uniforms.

7 Captain Cook is back in session! We parade Thursday evenings between 18:15 (6:15pm) and 21:15 (9:15pm). Cadets is free to join and is open to youth between the ages of 12-19.

Summer to Fall Transition

Summer training gave cadets the chance to explore new domains - from cyber security and aviation to sailing and expedition. These experiences weren’t just about technical skills—they were about building confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

As fall training begins, cadets are ready to apply what they’ve learned. They’re prepared to support their peers, take initiative, and contribute meaningfully to their corps and squadrons. The transition from summer to fall is seamless - because readiness is built year-round.
