The Northern Pride Centre is a drop-in centre for LGBTQ students, community members, and allies
The Northern Pride Centre Society is a provincially-recognized non-profit society. The society has five executive board members: President, Vice-President, Secretary-treasurer, Volunteer Coordinator, and Events Manager. Executives meet the second Friday of every month, and general meetings (open to everyone) meet the third Friday of every month.

It’s here folks! The annual Northern Pride centres annual screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show is on October 24th!!
This year, we have been generously sponsored by NUGSS to bring an unforgettable interactive screening event!
We are also celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show! On September 25th, 1975 the now q***r cult classic film premiered in Canada!!
We will be tabling in the Winter garden next week on October 21 & 23rd 10-2! Tickets are $10 for students and $13 for non-students! Make sure to get them before they sell out! If you miss us tabling, please swing by the pride centre (6-344) during our open hours to get them then!!
We encourage extravagant costumes, makeup and all around fantastical expressions of self!
See you on October 24th in the Weldwood theatre! Doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7!

Wow!! Last Saturday was a blast! Drag night was a huge success and the crowd was amazing!!!
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support us last week! Thank you to our volunteers, organizers and of course our performers!
Drag night is one of our favourite nights of the semester and they keep getting better!

The Northern Pride Centre is so excited to be collaborating with NBC Q***r Connections and other amazing community members to host their monthly Q***r Clothing Swap and Sewing Workshop in the NUSC space!
This event is happening Sunday March 23rd, 1:00-4:00PM!
Stop by, bring some clothes you’ve been looking to donate and/or find some new clothes brought by fellow q***r people! There will also be some volunteers with sewing machines to help with basic mending and alterations, and you can also learn how to do them yourself!
