Please include your child's name, birthday, a contact phone number and which class you'd like to register your child in. We have a 2 days per week class that is usually geared more towards 3 year olds, and a 3 days per week class that is geared towards pre-kindergarten readiness.

We are now accepting applications for the 2026/27 Preschool Lottery! To apply for a space in our preschool program, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Preschool Application". In the email please include: Your name, your child's full name, your child's date of birth, contact phone number, and the class you are hoping to register your child in.

We have two preschool classes to choose from. The Tuesday & Thursday class, which is geared more towards 3 year old children, and the Monday, Wednesday, and Friday which is geared more towards 4 year old children and pre-kindergarten readiness.

At this time, we do have some spaces available on the before and after school care waitlist. If you'd like to be added, please reach out! Space on the wait list is limited and expected to fill quickly.

2026/2027 PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION

OPENS FEBRUARY 1st, 2026 - CLOSES FEBRUARY 28th, 2026

Read below to find out how registration for the coming preschool school year will happen:

Registration at our program is done using a lottery system. We feel this is the fairest way to fill the preschool spaces this year as we are the only preschool on the Hart.

We have two choices for preschool classes:

One class is 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) that is geared towards 4-year-olds and pre-kindergarten readiness. The other class is 2 days per week (Tuesday/Thursday) that is geared more for 3-year-olds with a focus on play, forming social skills, and developing independence. Preschool runs from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm each day. Both preschool classes are filled with play-based learning as this is the best way to make sure children are socially and emotionally ready for Kindergarten.

We do not have an option for children to attend our program 1 day per week.

To apply for a space, STARTING FEBRUARY 1st, please send an e-mail to [email protected] with the subject “Preschool Application” that includes:

Your name, your contact information, your child’s full name, their date of birth, which preschool class you would like to register your child in, and any other information you feel we should know about your child. I will reply to every application I receive. If you send in an application and don’t hear back, please follow up with me BEFORE February 28th so I can make sure your application is included in the lottery.

Applications will be accepted from February 1st, until February 28th. Families that were successful in their application will be notified the week of March 9th.

Once the application window closes, no new applications will be accepted. Spaces will then be filled using a random number generator or similar method to fill the available spaces and the wait list space for the coming school year. Once the spaces have been filled, I will e-mail the selected families to let you have a space and let you know what the next steps in the registration process will be.

Please note: Families that are already enrolled in our program and have younger siblings to register or your child is moving from one class to the next, please ignore this. Registration happens for you another way. You do not need to enter the lottery again.

If your child has developmental delays, a diagnosis such as Autism, ADHD, or other medical condition that would require some extra supports in the preschool classroom, please make sure that you include this information in your application. We love having these children in our program and want to make sure that if we register your child with exceptional needs, that we put the proper supports in place so that they can thrive!

All of our families, new and returning should have heard from me today via e-mail regarding registration for this school year and updating currently enrolled children's profiles on CRAFTS. If you didn't get an e-mail from me today and think you should have, please reach out!

Our team will be back in the classroom starting on August 25th! For all the new families that are waiting to hear about registration, please know that getting that information to you will be first on my list! We will also be contacting the preschool families to give you a time to attend an open house in our classroom and then preschool will start near the middle of September. All Heart to Hart programs closed tomorrow, June 9th, while the staff renew their first aid training.

Every September, we tell our preschool families not to send their children to us in their best or new clothes for this reason! We are all about embracing messy activities and play because we can see all the fun and learning that's happening at the same time. If children are engaged, they are learning!

Some of you may have noticed that our page disappeared for a few days, but now it's back! Because of this, I've chosen to extend the application window for preschool until Monday, March 3rd so that any last minute people who may have come looking for information but were unable to find it can also get their applications in.
