Connect with others, learn about Indigiqueer history, and take part in creative activities and cultural teachings. Tea and light refreshments will be provided. Highlights from our Regional STEM Camp in Cheslatta!🧬

Campers explored genetics by extracting DNA from strawberries, building their own DNA models with candy to understand the double helix structure, and by a fun Monster Genetics activity. They also learned about the human body by testing their lung capacity with DIY model lungs and making brain hats to understand where the different lobes of the brain are located. And of course, no Active Minds STEM camp is complete without slime! Campers wrapped up their week by making their own blood slime and learning about the various components of human blood.🧠

Looking for something fun your kids can do on weekends?

Active Minds STEM Club can be the answer to that! Our STEM Clubs are designed to spark curiosity in youth and help them build real-world skills in STEM. They feature activities that spark a love for science as participants dive into the world of coding, experiments, robots, and more!🧑‍🔬

Clubs run in person every other Saturday, and each session focuses on a new subject ranging from astronomy and coding to chemistry and healthcare. There is always something for everyone!
