This week’s Tip of the Hat goes to three Conservatory students who recently completed Royal Conservatory of Music exams!

Congratulations to Allison’s student Corrin, who earned the Regional Gold Medal for her Level 2 Violin exam!

Elizabeth’s students also had an outstanding showing: Colin earned First Class Honours on his Level 2 Piano exam, while Jack earned First Class Honours with Distinction on his Level 7 Piano exam.

Congratulations to all three students — and to their teachers, Allison and Elizabeth, on these wonderful results! 👏

In case you missed our fantastic voice teacher Danielle Klaponski’s very entertaining performances with the PG Symphony Orchestra at Pops in the Park, here’s a little snippet of her (fittingly!) performance of “Popular” from Wicked. 🎶

We think Danielle is pretty popular around here, too! 😉

We want to extend a huge tip of the hat to Birgit Allgaier for the awesome student planner and handbooks that she created for this year's lucky students! She had the original vision and created the whole thing complete with brand new headshots for our faculty! The handbook has lots of space for lessons notes and a monthly calendar with all of our events as well as events in the community from partners like Studio 2880, Prince George Symphony Orchestra, Coldsnap Music Festival and the PG and District Music Festival. This project would not have been possible without Birgit's hard work, and she did it all as a volunteer! We also want to thank our handbook sponsors Studio 2880 PG Community Foundation Marcotte Law and Mothus Financial Services Inc. 🎶
