Welcome back to school and meet your PAC!

Some of the PAC Executive will be on site at Polaris on Tuesday morning from 8:30am-10:00am with coffee & treats. Come by between drop-off or pick-up for a chat and check out all of the fun initiatives that we support for our students and community!

Did you know that all parents/caregivers of Polaris students are automatically members of the PAC? We meet monthly (in person and online by video feed) and are a kind, motivated, drama-free group. We invite everyone to participate in our annual events, fundraisers, meetings and initiatives in whatever capacity you can. We are so appreciative of all of our volunteers and supporters. Thank you for making Polaris such a special and vibrant community! 🤩

Can you help us with the largest fundraiser that we have ever undertaken?

We need more volunteers on Aug 29-31 for concession shifts at the Blackwater range:
7am to 12pm
9am to 2pm
11am to 4pm

Please email us at [email protected] with your name, phone # and what shift(s) you are available for. We are going to have a lot of fun providing catering for the IPSC BC Provincials and expect to raise a large amount of funds for Polaris students!

Details:
Polaris PAC is providing a three day catering service during the Labour Day long weekend (Aug 29-31) for the IPSC BC Provincials at the Prince George Rod and Gun Club (Blackwater range) and we need your support!

Tasks:
We still need additional volunteers for each of the 3 days to assist with preparing, serving and selling meals, drinks and snacks throughout the day.

Why:
This fundraiser has the potential to generate thousands of dollars for PAC which will enable us to undertake and support many projects at Polaris such as: the new outdoor Indigenous garden and classroom, buses for field trips, class pet food and bedding, class materials etc.

We are also still accepting baked good donations. If you can provide cookies, squares, muffins etc. wrapped individually in saran wrap for selling at the concession please sign up at:

🌷The Hunniford Gardens PAC Fundraiser is here!🌻

You can purchase Hunniford Gardens Gift Cards in values of $25, $50 or $100 and 10% will be given back to Polaris PAC to support class pets, STEM, the new Indigenous Garden outdoor classroom and buses for field trips. Order and pay by May 15th and gift cards will be at Polaris for pick up on Weds, May 21st.

Calling all football fans and Polaris Montessori supporters! 🎉 For just $10 per square, you can join in on the fun and excitement of Grey Cup Sunday November 17 AND support the Polaris Montessori PAC at the same time!

Proceeds support Polaris Montessori PAC, helping fund resources and activities for our amazing school community.

Our Hunniford Fundraiser ends this Thursday!

All paper orders need to be at the school by Thursday so that I can pick them up Friday morning! (Make sure your kid knows that the form has to exit their backpack and make it to the office.)

I have extended online ordering only to noon on Friday at polaris.hotlunches.net.

There is more information on the attachment (which does not need to be returned if you order online).

Ordering is available until mid-March.

Please feel free to print out the attached form to give to your family, friends, and coworkers. They can log into polaris.hotlunches.net to order as a guest, you can add their order to your own Hot Lunches order, or you can bring their form back to the school by the morning of March 13th, or scan it to [email protected] by then, too.
