🧁 Attention Families! Our Elementary School PSG is hosting a Bake Sale! 🧁

Mark your calendars for Friday, October 9th, right after school.
We will be setting up tables to sell delicious treats, with all proceeds going directly toward supporting our students and school programs.

To make this event a sweet success, we need your help! We are looking for donations of baked goods. Whether you love to bake from scratch or prefer to bring in your favorite store-bought treats, all contributions are greatly appreciated.

How you can help:
• Drop off your donations at the school office on the morning of Friday, October 9th.
• Please ensure all items are nut-free to keep our students safe.
• If possible, please label your items with a quick ingredient list (especially for gluten-free or dairy-free options).

Welcome back! We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful summer break, and we are incredibly excited to kick off another fantastic school year ahead.
Our Hot Lunch program officially begins on Wednesday, October 5th. To ensure a smooth start, please review the vital details, upcoming deadlines, and volunteer opportunities outlined below:
📅 Order Placement & Deadlines
All ordering is managed entirely online.
Where to Order: Visit the MunchaLunch Login Page to place your orders.
New Families: Please visit the link above to set up your new family account.
Returning Families: Please log in and remember to update your child's classroom and grade for the new school year.
First Order Deadline: Orders for the first two weeks of October must be submitted by Wednesday, September 30th. Once the system closes on this date, we strictly cannot accept late orders or changes.
We are also very lucky to be able to offer School Sponsored lunches again this year. On October 8th, 15th, &29th the feeding future grant will take care of the cost of these lunches. We thank Mrs. McDermid for her planning and organizing.
🤝 We Need Your Help!
We are incredibly fortunate to offer hot lunches multiple days a week, but this program relies entirely on parent volunteers to succeed.
If you can spare just 45 minutes once a month, it makes a massive difference—and means fewer packed lunches for you! Our program coordinators, Emily and Lorena, will be at the upcoming PSG BBQ Friday September 18th @ 2:30pm with a physical sign-up sheet. Please stop by to see how you can help.

We are excited for another amazing year. Our parent support group is here to help the school fund bussing for field trips, school events like dances, fun fairs, and other activities. None of this is possible without parent participation. We are lucky to have a great group of parents involved but we are always looking for new volunteers so we can expand what we offer to the students and the community of sacred heart school.

The PSG will be hosting a BBQ this FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 18th after school on the school grounds. This is a great opportunity to meet the members of the PSG and to find out how you can get involved. There are many opportunities for you to get involved!

Tomorrow is officially the first day of the school year, and we cannot wait to see everyone!
We are filled with joy and excitement as we begin another amazing year of learning, friendship, and faith. As we prepare to walk through the doors tomorrow morning, we lift up our school community in prayer.

Important date to remember!
Please mark your calendars for Wednesday September 9th for our CLASSROOM INFORMATION EVENING from 6:00pm-7:00pm.
The hour will be divided into 20-minute sessions where you will have the time to meet your child's teacher and get informed with the different procedures and expectations of your child's grade level classroom. You will also get an opportunity to meet and connect with our Learning Assistance, French, PE, and Music teacher(s). It is pertinent that a parent or guardian attend at least one session for each classroom. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Donation are required that will go the Northern Uganda Development Fund to the Kamdini school in Uganda.

✨ And that’s a wrap on the 2025–2026 school year! ✨
Today, we sent our students off into summer with joyful hearts and prayers for a safe, restful break. We are so incredibly proud of how much our students have grown in knowledge, friendship, and faith this year.
