🌱 Yesterday, we gathered around the table - and the conversation didn’t stop.

The Student-Led Food Security Roundtable brought together , , and the UNBC Women’s Centre to share our journeys with food bank funding, what’s working, what’s not, and how we can do better together.

A heartfelt thank you to PHABC (Public Health Association of BC) β€” the main sponsor and driving force behind this event. It is because of your trust in student-led organizations that initiatives like this are possible. πŸ™

We are also deeply grateful to our incredible allies β€” United Way BC .north and Food Banks BC β€” whose ongoing support allows us to serve students with dignity and cultural inclusivity.

A special thanks to .unbc (and Doug!) for hosting us and being such a key player in food security on campus 🀝, and to the UNBC Sustainability Office for joining the conversation and bringing such thoughtful perspectives.

And finally, thank you to Over the Edge (OTE) for being our media sponsor and capturing this event πŸ“ΈπŸŽ™οΈ - we appreciate you helping us share this story with the wider community.

Stay tuned for the article in next issue!

This is what community looks like. πŸ’š
