🎨 Play-Doh Feelings Fun! 😊😢😠😴

Today’s Play-Doh activity turned into so much more than just play! The children explored different emotions, recognized how different feelings can look, and created their own silly, happy, worried, angry, tired and excited faces. 💛

Of course, the creativity didn’t stop there! Soon the Play-Doh became pizza, lollipops, different shapes and lots of little creations. 🍕🍭✨

A simple activity filled with emotional learning, imagination, creativity and plenty of fun! 🥰

🍝 Feed the Spaghetti Fun! 🌈

Last Friday’s activity was all about rolling colorful “spaghetti” yarn around a spoon-and the kids absolutely loved it! While having fun, they practiced hand-eye coordination, focus, fine-motor control, and color recognition. Such a simple activity with so much learning packed in! 💛🧶✨

Today’s activity was all about learning our body parts and putting them together! 🧩👀👂👋 The children had so much fun figuring out where the eyes, ears, hands, arms, legs and other body parts belong.

Then came free painting, which quickly turned into everyone’s favourite part - painting our hands and making handprints! 🎨🖐️ For some of our younger friends, it was also a funny little learning moment as we practiced keeping the paint on the paper instead of on ourselves. 😄

And of course, no activity at Sweet Pumpkins Daycare feels complete without a little mess! The mess is always part of the fun, creativity and learning. ❤️✨

Today’s activity was all about putting our body together! 🧩👀👂👃 But before we even got to the body parts, the rice became a favourite part of the activity! 😄 The kids loved touching it, spreading it around, making shapes and, of course, making a little mess along the way. 🤭

Then they had fun figuring out where the head, arms, hands, eyes, ears and mouth belong. The funniest part was watching them hold the eyes over their own eyes and ears beside their ears! 😂 A simple activity filled with sensory play, learning, laughter and lots of fun. 💕

🎈 Balloon Face Fun! 🎨😊

Today’s activity was such a hit! The children started by coloring their own eyes, ears, noses and mouths, and the excitement really began when it was time to blow up the balloons and turn them into silly little faces. 😄🎈

They had so much fun deciding where the eyes should go, where to place the nose, ears and mouth, while learning about different facial features and body parts along the way. The best part was seeing how proud they were of their finished balloon friends!

They loved them so much that everyone carefully kept their balloon safe so they can come back tomorrow and play with it again. 🥰

A simple activity filled with creativity, fine-motor practice, body-part recognition, decision-making and lots of laughter! 💛
