Precious Gems Childcare and Preschool

Over the past few years we've gathered a collection of abandoned or forgotten water bottles. If you recognize one of these as your child's let us know and we'll make sure you get it back. In a couple of weeks anything unclaimed will be donated.

We are beyond grateful to every one of our preschool families. This has been such an incredible year and we are so thankful for all of the love, support, and trust you have given us. We have been spoiled in more ways than one and we appreciate the amazing gifts and kind words, but know that knowing all of you and your children has been priceless and we will cherish the memories from this year forever. Thank you so much and we will miss you all. Have a great summer!

Today our Preschool group baked cookies as a science/math experiment in their bakery unit. For a chance to win a gift card to Cobs (to keep with the theme) how many cookies did one batch of cookies make.

We have said time and again that we are fortunate to have amazing kids and amazing families in our programs. Just look at the treats provided entirely by parents of our Pre K kids! We're so thankful to all our families! Happy Halloween! 🎃

Happy Halloween! Halloween was the theme of the week and I hope highlight of the activities was a witches brew counting activity. The kids had to count out the right spooky ingredients and mix them up to make a treat appear. It was a big hit. Sorry for terrible photo, mood lighting is scary to cameras.

Every week we have a different theme to keep the kids interested. Last week was the thanksgiving theme which included some pretty cute activities like matching the different coloured turkeys to the appropriate fence.

One of our circle time activities was an apple taste test. Out of six types of apple, Granny Smith was the undisputed champion!
