This year, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Jade Mathiscyk of Desired Healing Centre for the incredible impact she has had across our Education Department.
Jadeโs work has touched students, staff, and families alike through individual counselling sessions, social-emotional learning workshops, and professional development opportunities for our teachers. Her calm presence, deep compassion, and trauma-informed approach have helped create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
One of Jadeโs lasting contributions has been her role in helping to reimagine and revitalize the Eagleโs Nestโour counselling, regulation, and wellness space. Through her guidance and vision, the Eagleโs Nest has become a welcoming environment where students can regulate, reflect, heal, and reconnect.
Whether working one-on-one with a student, supporting our staff team, or helping shape the culture of wellness throughout the school, Jade brings a peaceful, grounded touch to everything she does.
Thank you, Jade, for your partnership, your wisdom, and the care you bring to our community. We are grateful for the journey weโve shared this year and look forward to continuing this important work together.
