BUILD A STRONG FOUNDATION IN FRENCH!
For one year only, École Arthur Pechey Public School is offering eligible French Immersion Kindergarten students the opportunity to attend Kindergarten every day during the 2026-2027 school year.
This unique opportunity provides additional time for students to develop the language skills, confidence, and strong foundation that support long-term success in French Immersion.

We invite applications from families who are interested in beginning their child’s French Immersion journey and exploring the benefits of bilingual education.

Eligibility:
• Children born in 2021
• Students residing within the École Arthur Pechey attendance area
• Residences south of the North Saskatchewan River and West of 6th Ave East.

Applications will be reviewed to ensure the program is the right fit for families intending to continue with French Immersion.

Our Grade 8 students had an amazing time in Waskesiu! They enjoyed the beach, explored the outdoors on a hike, and participated in hands-on learning experiences by the river.

Land-Based Learning Day at École Arthur Pechey Public School 🍂🧡
Our students had the opportunity to participate in a wonderful Land-Based Learning Day filled with culture, learning, and connection. We were honoured to welcome Elders who shared Indigenous stories and teachings, helping students deepen their understanding and appreciation of Indigenous culture and traditions.
Throughout the day, students enjoyed a variety of activities including jigging, yoga, beading, and many other hands-on experiences. It was inspiring to see so much enthusiasm, curiosity, and engagement from everyone involved.
A big thank you to our Elders, presenters, staff, and volunteers who helped make this meaningful day possible. The smiles on our students’ faces said it all—they had an amazing time learning, connecting, and celebrating together. 🧡
