On September 22, Miss Sooniyas’ class was honoured to have been invited by Gabriel Dumont Institute to participate in Colours of the Sash. The students had a great time learning about and celebrating Métis culture. The day wrapped up with a performance from Donny Parenteau. 💙

🧡Truth and Reconciliation Day 🧡

Today, our school community came together in unity to remember, honour, and reflect on the experiences of residential school survivors and those who did not return home. We participated in a reconciliation walk throughout the community, creating an opportunity to learn, reflect, and show respect. We wrapped up the day by gathering outside for a round dance, coming together as a school community in the spirit of healing, remembrance, and reconciliation.
