The child care crisis is so very real and it's not being made any better, despite how it is being presented. We are full through the 2023-24 school year and even considering expansion to meet the needs of more families is entirely out of the realm of possibility, not only for the reason shared in this article, but also for many more that go unaddressed.

Let's take this moment to extend gratitude to the incredible team at Roots & Wings who have remained steady and constant through the years despite low pay and government disregard. While we cannot meet the needs of more families in this current climate, I am forever grateful to have the team we have doing all they can day in and day out to make a difference in the lives of local families ❤
