As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to fostering lifelong learning, enhancing employment opportunities, and facilitating seamless settlement services for newcomers to Canada. To run these programs, we receive support from a number of different funding bodies. These include government, foundations, and community funds. A sincere thank you to our current funders:

🌎 We’re Better Together: Celebrating Our Community ❀️

Today marked the first day of the Flag Raising Ceremony at the PCI Athletic Fields, celebrating the many cultures, traditions, and stories that make our community vibrant and strong. We are honoured to support the Portage la Prairie School Division in recognising and celebrating the diversity that enriches our community.

Every flag represents a journey of courage, hope, and belonging. Together, we honour the diverse communities that help make Portage la Prairie a welcoming place for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today! We invite you to continue celebrating with us tomorrow, Tuesday at 9:00 AM at the PCI Athletic Fields, as we proudly raise flags honouring:

Democratic Republic of Congo, El Salvador, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Iran, Israel, Jamaica, Long Plain

As part of the We’re Better Together campaign, we celebrate the diversity, connections, and stories that bring us closer.

Together, we celebrate our diversity, embrace our differences, and build a more welcoming and connected community.

🌎 Across Canada, we stand with refugees and newcomers.
