Yesterday CVS track and field athletes competed at the Provincial Middle Years Track Meet at U of M. We ran, we jumped, we threw against the best in the province. Along with some excellent results by all of our students, we brought home a provincial championship gold medal. Way to go Cobras!

We did it. Today we celebrated our new CVS Community Court with a grand opening. We would like to thank all of our community supporters that donated towards this project. Special thanks to the representatives here today from Portage la Prairie School Division, Community Foundation, McCains, Stride CU, Screen Door, Kitsons, Shewfelts, Richardson Ltd, Shindleman, Pharmasave, Portage Rotary Club, Southport Aerospace, CVS Student Leadership and CVS Families. We also could not have achieved this goal without the support of our CVS Home and School Association.

Ready to kick off summer? CVS is ready with our summer spirit week from June 8-12. Check out the theme days to earn points for your house. Only a few opportunities left before the winner of the first Cobra Cup House League Championship is revealed.

Great day at the Grade 5-8 CVS Track & Field meet. Congrats to all of our students for a fun filled day of competition. Way to go Cobras!

Thanks to our Grade 3 classes who participated in Beautification Days. They took to the streets on Meighen, Old Bridge Road and Henderson Drive to clean up our community. We almost filled our entire garbage bin. Way to go Grade 3.

With upcoming poor weather conditions, we haved moved our Grade 5-8 Track & Field day to from this Thursday to next Monday, May25th at the YQS track. New date, same plan.
