From the “some people are just sick in the head” file:

It has been brought to our attention that someone has been stringing wire/baler twine across a trail and tying it to posts on either side. This is not a joke, not a prank, and not harmless. It is a deliberate act that can seriously injure or kill a rider.

ATV riders are not bad people. We are fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, cousins, uncles, grandpas and grandmas. We are community members who contribute to the communities we ride in, enjoy the outdoors, respect the land, and share the trails with all users.

Setting traps on trails is criminal, dangerous, and completely unacceptable. If you see anything suspicious like wire, rope, twine, or anything stretched across a trail, please, stop immediately, mark the location, and report it to the Club or local authorities.

Riders, hikers, cyclists and horseback riders, let’s watch out for each other and keep our trails safe for everyone.

Thank you everyone that came out to our Poker Ride. Great day with alot of great people.
