Bishop White School

Our K-3 students were excited to welcome their pen pals from Catalina Elementary yesterday for a fun-filled day at Bishop White! 😊

Students enjoyed spending time together, taking part in activities, a teddy bear picnic lunch and strengthening the friendships they have built throughout the year. It was wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter, and teamwork as everyone enjoyed their special day together.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this visit such a success!

These items have been found around the school and in the change rooms, please collect before Thursday of next week! We have tables near the main office with all items!

Here is our final Barons Bulletin for the year! We have had a great one, and can't thank our BWS families enough for their support throughout!

🚨 Important End-of-Year Reminder 🚨

As we wrap up the school year, we still have many lockers (Grades 7–12) that need to be cleaned out before summer break.

We also have a large collection of unclaimed lost and found items. We’ll be posting photos tomorrow to help families identify any missing belongings.

In addition, many students still need to return:
📚 Textbooks
💻 Chromebooks, cases, and chargers
🧮 Calculators and any other school-owned items that were borrowed

The school will be open tomorrow from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for students to:
✅ Clean out their lockers (please bring a reusable bag for belongings)
✅ Return textbooks, Chromebooks, chargers, calculators, and other school items

If your child is unable to come in tomorrow, please ensure they stop by early next week. All lockers should be emptied and all school materials returned by June 24.

Just a reminder that tomorrow, June 19th, is a PL day for teachers and there is no school for students.

🌱 Our K–3 students had a wonderful celebration today to wrap up another successful year with the Little Green Thumbs program!

We enjoyed a virtual farm tour from Central Newfoundland, sampled some of the lettuce grown in our own garden, and proudly received our Little Green Thumbs t-shirts and certificates.

A great way to celebrate a year of learning, growing, and exploring where our food comes from! 🌿🥬👏

Permission slips for our Trinity Day for K-12 students are due back tomorrow! ☀️😎

We still have a large number of tickets not passed in for the Grand in the Hand ticket draw - PLEASE try and get these in tomorrow, June 18th as the draw is on Friday and we would like to double check tickets before hand!
