Sponsors Wanted!
What We Do
100 Kids Who Care North Durham is a platform that gathers children from Kindergarten to Grade 12 for four one-hour meetings per year (March, June, September, and December). During each meeting, three local charities present their cause, and the kids vote on which one they want to support. The chosen charity then receives $10 from each child present. At the following meeting, that charity returns to share how the donation helped.
Our meetings also focus on fostering discussions around financial literacy and charitable giving, helping families talk about the importance of philanthropy and smart financial decision-making. Itβs a wonderful experience that teaches children the value of generosity and how they can make a difference in their own community.
How You Can Help
We are currently seeking partnerships with local businesses to help us make our upcoming events even more impactful. Below are the sponsorship opportunities available:
Location Sponsor
We are looking for venues to host our December meeting in Uxbridge and our March meeting in Port Perry. The location should accommodate up to 100 people.
T-Shirt Sponsor
Help us outfit our 100 Kids Who Care with t-shirts for our events and volunteer activities. A donation of $1,500 will cover 100 shirts and provide your business logo placement on each shirt. We are seeking one donor of $1500 or 3 donors of $500 per donor.
Food and Beverage Sponsor
For our September or December meetings, we are looking for sponsors to provide a light snack and drinks for the kids. A donation of $100 per meeting can help make this happen. Multiple donors are welcome, or a food and beverage business to provide it.
Why Sponsor Us?
All of our sponsors will be recognized across our social media channels, in email communications, and at each event. This is a great opportunity to give back to the community while gaining visibility for your business among local families who value community support and involvement.
Join Us!
By partnering with 100 Kids Who Care North Durham, youβll play a crucial role in inspiring the next generation of leaders and philanthropists. If youβre interested in becoming a sponsor or would like more information, please donβt hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected].
Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with you and continue making a positive impact in North Durham!

100 KIDS WHO CARE!!
23 Children in attendance tonight, a handful of members not able to make it, a group of supportive parents and three amazing ladies from different organizations to help make tonight a success and teach the children about giving back to the community they live in. π
A great night hearing from Rachel about and how if they were to be chosen they would purchase a wheelchair for the hospital as they are in need of more. The kids shared with Rachel reasons they have visited the hospital from broken toes, wrists, infections and to meet new babies. We heard quite the medical history of our members, it was so sweet how the kids connected with Rachel and the Hospital.
Then Karen from Operation Scugog spoke about the need for certain items at the food bank; and how they operate to serve the community and rely on donations and community members for support. The kids were excited to share how they have donated in the past to the food bank and it definitely sparked some childrenβs want to get food and supplies over to them soon.
To end the night Amanda from spoke about her journey with Grandview, her service dog and how the money would go towards family resource programs in our communities, with 8 locations in Durham and one right here in Port Perry the kids connected with the thought of helping other children!
$320.60 was donated to after a vote!
We are so grateful that Rachel, Karen and Amanda were able to join us tonight and that we were all able to learn something new about each organization.
Thank you to all of the children who came out tonight to listen, learn and donate!

Letβs empower our children to be changemakers. By encouraging them to make their own money for charity, we not only teach them important life lessons but also inspire them to become compassionate, generous, and proactive individuals.
Together, letβs raise a generation of kids who are not only successful but also kind-hearted. Letβs show them that they have the power to change the world for the better, starting today.
