September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation & Orange Shirt Day🧡

Today, we honour residential school survivors, their families, and those who never made it home. It is a day to reflect, learn, and remember those affected by the residential school system.

On 754 Phoenix Squadron’s Awards Night, Warrant Officer Second Class Maxine Mikkelson celebrated her last night as a cadet.

Throughout her cadet career Warrant Officer Second Class Maxine Mikkelson has attended numerous Cadet Training Centers such as Vernon CTC and Whitehorse CTC, gaining knowledge and experience to lead and be a role model within the squadron. Her dedication truly reflects the words, "Dream so big that small-minded people get uncomfortable.”

We thank you for always going above and beyond and your 5 years of service, commitment and leadership!
