PHSS would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Wes Gibson and the crew from At the Waters Edge Adventures in Telegraph Cove. They've provided our Outdoor Ed department with an impressive collection of rain jackets, tents, sleeping bags, camping mats, and PFD's. They've also offered heavily discounted sea kayak tours to our classes each year. We are so grateful for the support!

***Attention all student going to Hada***
Below is the packing list for Hada. The bus leaves at 8:30 sharp Monday morning! Please arrive at the school no later than 8:20!!
Nestled in the supernatural beauty of the Great Bear Rainforest of BC at the Hada River estuary, Nawalakw is a powerful and inspirational educational setting. At our camp, we recognize the role of our land as teacher and healer, guided by our ancestors and our elders.
We believe that reconciliation begins with oneself and then extends into our families, relationships, workplaces and eventually into our communities. Based on contemporary and traditional best practices, we will develop mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical wellness, and create opportunities for cultural knowledge learning and application.

DRIVING REMINDERS FOR ALL
Please remember that the PHSS Parking Lot has a 7 km/hr speed limit.
BC Driving rules apply at all times in the school zone and parking lot -- we have pediestrians, buses, motorcycles, bicycles and caars arriving daily and frequently at the same times.
Student parking is at the front of the school. Student drivers are reminded that overloading and transportation of others needs to be in compliance with licencing regulations. This includes motorcycles and helmets are required at all times.
The entry of the school and the side along the track are bus zones for pick-up and drop-off. Vehicular traffic should use the outer parking lot areas for student pick-up and drop-off.
Thank you for keeping our school a safe place for all!

GRAD 2026
🎈 Senior Prank Success! 🎈
Today was an eventful arrival to school for staff! Grade 12s executed a senior prank, and it was all in good fun! Staff arrived to find balloon animals in their mailboxes and the Principal's office filled with balloons.
The creativity, teamwork, and planning that went into today's prank does not go unnoticed. What made it especially appreciated was that it was lighthearted and brought plenty of smiles and laughter to both staff and students.
Thank you to our graduating class for reminding us that school traditions can be fun while still reflecting the respect and positive spirit that we value at PHSS.
Now the question remains: how long will it take to get all of these balloons out of my office? 🎈😄
