Eke Me-Xi Learning Centre

Hello Eke Me-Xi families! 💜
We would like to invite families to the Gift of Life Uplifting Celebration on Tuesday, December 16 from 12 to 4 pm at the Port Hardy Civic Centre.

Our students and staff will be catering this event as a major school fundraiser, though the event itself is not hosted by Eke Me-Xi. Funds raised will help support student trips this year and our graduation. We would love for families to join as participants if you are available, and to support your child in participating.

Thank you for supporting our students and our school community.

COAL HARBOUR BUS RUN - CANCELLED

Wednesday November 21st.

We regret to inform students, families and the communities of Quatsino and Coal Harbour that this bus will not be operating today.

Options for High School learners include:

MORNING: Transit bus from Quatsino Health Centre at 9:00 am to TBird Mall (arrive 9:20 am) and walk to Ekemexi.
Let the driver know you are a student and your school will cover the cost.

We will provide bus passes for the transit back home as well -- please see the main office for tickets.

AFTER SCHOOL: Transit bus from TBird Mall at 3:42 pm with Arrival at Quatsino Health Centre at 4:11 pm

School District 85 schools are closed today.

We hope you faired well last night with the high winds and that clean up is easy. Thank you to the many folks who carry chainsaws and were able to assist on our local roads.

We are excited to welcome learners back into our building next Wednesday, Sept. 4th. Our day will start at 8:48 and end at 3:20. We are still accepting applicants for students in grades 8 to 12. If you have any questions please phone 250-949-8332, come by the school or DM on here.

Don’t forget we are going to public skate tomorrow 2pm to 3pm for those students interested. Don’t forget to bring a helmet if you have one. We do have some spares.
