About Us and What We Believe

We know that as a parent you expect a place that’s intellectually and emotionally stimulating, and somewhere that effectively combines education and fun. The program at “Pimpoyo Home Family Daycare” is based on the principles of respect, community, responsibility and love for each other. Through exploration and discovery we will navigate our well balanced curriculum that will allow children to explore and develop their imagination, creativity and self-awareness. Children are encouraged to share their thoughts, ideas and interpretation about everything they could meet or do in the day. They will be exposed to different themes every month, and we will immerse ourselves in the theme, exploring it in many different ways. Children will partake in different activities such as learning facts, songs, crafts, music, practicing and developing fine motor and gross motor skills and outdoor time. Focusing in the child as a whole assisting him/her with constant loving care, intellectual and emotional stimulation, social skills, second language, play, respect, physical activity, and no screen-time policies. We believe children must have the opportunity to learn through experiences of touching, moving, listening and observing. Music is a big part of our every day life so expect them to sing for you! Always in a safe environment where children feel free to express themselves, understood and loved. Communication with parents is paramount and I will send home with the child a daily report, as well as on going and constant communication with detailed monthly newsletters. We work together for the good of the children.
