Slippery fish, slippery fish, swimming in the water.....
Sea animal water play introduces infants and toddlers to exciting textures, temperatures, and causes and effects.

I spy Ocean animals!
An "I Spy" sea animal activity for toddlers is a fantastic, interactive way to teach children about marine life. By searching for and identifying hidden ocean creatures, toddlers naturally develop their visual scanning, concentration, and vocabulary. It also sharpens observation skills as they notice shapes, colors, and specific details.
Flower soup, mixing and pouring.
Our summer sensory soup provided visual, tactile, and olfactory sensory input. Kids can see the different shapes and colours with their eyes. They can explore textures through touch and they can smell the leaves and flowers with their nose. They can also see how the smells change as the flowers mix together in the “soup”.
This flower soup sensory activity was such a hit with all our little friends.

Ocean animal rescue.
We used shovels to move ocean animals between containers, during this activity the infants refined their hand-eye coordination, strengthen hand and wrist muscles for future writing and self-feeding, and developed concentration and an understanding of cause and effect.

We are exploring the ocean in our tin foil boats!!
The tin foil boat "sink or float" experiment is a fantastic STEM activity for preschoolers. We built boats out of aluminum foil, then tested if they float, and then added "cargo" to see how much weight the boats can hold before sinking.
Will our boats sink or float, let's find out, but watch out for that Shark.

Cool and colourful adventures with our little friends.
Ice painting for toddlers is a fantastic, taste-safe sensory activity. This activity is great for exploring colour mixing and talking about the freezing and melting point of water.
What colour do you get when you mix blue and yellow?

We are going on a fishing trip, we are leaving right away!
What are they learning through this activity?
They are learning muscle control as they hold the fishing rods and try to match the magnet to the fish.
They are learning to cooperate and work together.
Social skills are practiced through taking turns, helping each other, and talking out what they are doing.
We love sharing our ideas just as much as we love hearing new ideas for fun and educational activities to do with our little friends.
We are making music, with our rainbow water xylophone.
A rainbow water xylophone is an engaging STEAM activity that uses dyed water in glasses to explore sound. It provides multiple developmental and educational benefits for children, including promoting early musical awareness, teaching foundational physics and science, and developing fine motor skills.
