We have a new fish friend at daycare! 🐠
He’ll be visiting us for just two weeks, and he’s already enjoying a lot of attention. Sometimes he gets a little shy and hides among the leaves, so we patiently wait for him to come out and show us his bright orange tail again. 🧡
We’re having so much fun watching and taking care of our little visitor!

Summer vibes

Today we celebrate all the incredible fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and male role models who help guide, support, and inspire the children in their lives.

We were looking at the “Children Around the World” puzzle and talking about the different clothing the children were wearing. I pointed to one of the girls and said, “She’s wearing jewelry, just like Myra, because her family is also from India and it’s a very old Indian tradition for girls to wear jewellery even when they’re very young.”
Cambrie then asked, “Why is she from India?”
I explained that Myra was born in Canada, just like the rest of the children at daycare, but both of her parents were born in India.
Cambrie thought about it for a moment and then said, “Just like Mira understands when you speak Bulgarian. I think you’re from a different planet too, Krassi!”

It was such a sweet and funny moment. 😊
