Back in early June, the students of St. Thomas Aquinas submitted Sign design ideas for the new Community Garden in Port au Port East. While there were many beautiful designs, the concept submitted by Grade 7 student, Ellie Rodrigues was selected. The garden was opened officially this evening and Ellie was in attendance to help unveil the sign.

Back on May 29th, we hosted a Special Olympics Gove it a Go! event. We had student athletes from Lourdes, OLOC, Stephenville, Stephenville Crossing, Port au Port, Burgeo, and Pasadena show up to participate. It was an awesome day! Hockey, Soccer, Basketball, Axe throwing, Disc Golf, Co****le, Gymnastics, Volleyball, and Hula Hoop / Body Movement!
A special thanks to all of our student and community volunteers who assisted!
