Some of you know that I spend the first couple weeks of August every year setting up the network for one of the biggest computer security conferences in the world. Tomorrow night (Friday July 31) is our last open night before we close for the month of August for our annually scheduled maintenance. We are going to be having a movie night (Sneakers PG-13) starting at 6pm. Hope to see a big turn out from members. If you have a project in the space that you are working on, please pick it up by Friday, or send us a message to organize another option.

Just another reminder that we will be closed for maintenance starting August 1st 2026.
The Makerspace will be closed during this time while we paint and renovate. We also use this time to plan and prepare for the Fall Fair, and this year is going to be our biggest yet!
If you have a recurring membership plan and are concerned about the August shut down, please reach out to us or come into the space to talk about options.

This Friday (July 31) is our last open night before we close for the month of August. To celebrate we will be having a "Make and Movie" night. We'll be finishing up a bunch of projects while we watch, this is a great time to pick up any projects you have in the space before we start our clean.
Mike is leaving to Las Vegas Saturday morning for a Hackers conference so we thought it would be fitting to watch the 1992 classic "Sneakers" (PG-13)
We are Open from 4pm-9pm, the movie will start at 6pm.

We have a lot of Staff out running events today! Because of this we will need to close early tonight. We will be back to our regular hours tomorrow Sunday July 26. Thanks!

Tomorrow we will be sending the Mobile Makerspace to the West coast for a big weekend of Tofino Market and Ukee Days. If your planning to be out in Ucluelet this weekend, make sure you stop by our booth and say hello! We'll be there Saturday and Sunday.
