Today we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples’ Day. 🧡
At Ponoka Elementary School, we recognize and celebrate the rich histories, cultures, languages, and contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples. This day is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and honour the enduring strength and resilience of Indigenous communities while continuing our commitment to truth, reconciliation, and meaningful relationships.
Together, we strive to create a school where every student feels a sense of belonging, respect, and pride in who they are.
Happy National Indigenous Peoples’ Day! ❤️💛💙🤍
