Our Adult Hip Hop and Adult Tap classes are the perfect chance to get moving, learn something new, have a few laughs, and enjoy some time just for YOU!

Whether you danced growing up or have never taken a dance class before, we’d love to have you!

Miss Alexis returns for her 9th season with us at G2D! She is our ballet and tap guru and the queen of creative and imaginative choreography. She travels to Ponoka from Edmonton twice a week to instil her love of dance to our students and we are so grateful for her commitment to our studio.

Hey, it’s us! 👋🏻 Tonight we got together to catch up, brainstorm, collaborate, and plan all the good stuff for season 19.

Each one of these ladies brings something unique and valuable to the table. We’ve grown together as instructors, friends, and family over the past several years and we couldn’t be more grateful for this team.

They aren’t just people who walk into the studio each week. They are mentors, role models, familiar faces, and a constant presence in our dancers’ lives.

Having our teachers return year after year means our dancers get to build real relationships with the people who teach them. They know our dance families and the values we hold important to us at G2D.

We are so excited to get back into the swing of things and see you all. Season 19 - the countdown is on.

Miss Anne-Alisa is back with her 19th season co-owing and instructing at G2D. A dance mom herself, Anne-Alisa also grew up dancing in Ponoka, and now gets to watch her own two girls grow up within the studio walls.

Miss Jordan, our hip hop extraordinaire, is back for her third season at G2D!

Jordan also grew up dancing at our studio, and was a dedicated, committed, and passionate student from day one. Very early on she found a love for hip hop and has continued to pursue it all these years later. We are so proud to watch her grow as an educator, and love watching her creativity come to life with her choreography.

Miss Megan is back once again for our Monday night Recreational classes! She is so loved by our dancers, and it’s evident why when watching her teach. She is fun, energetic, bubbly and encouraging. 🫧

Her only class with space still remaining is Movers and Groovers, so snag your spot before it’s gone!

Miss Stef is back for her sixth season with G2D! Stefanie is a former student of ours, and having her at the studio teaching the next generation makes our hearts burst with pride.

Stefanie has a true talent for creating unique and dynamic choreography that pushes our dancers to learn more and discover what they are capable of, both in tech classes and on the stage performing.

A jam packed three days at The Dance Initiative. 😅 Dancers, as you walk away sweaty, tired, and sore - give yourselves some giant kudos for your hard work! You tried new styles, learned from new instructors, met new faces, and tested your brain and body along the way.

And a special shout out to Blakely, who was awarded an Encore scholarship at the end of today’s showcase for demonstrating a love of dance and heartfelt emotion in her classes throughout the three days.

Major thanks to The Dance Initiative for putting on such a well-organized and positive event. 🙌🏻

We have a lot of new faces and families joining us this season, so we thought this would be the perfect time to introduce our G2D teaching team. 👋🏻

Up first is Miss Gjenna (aka - me, the person who writes the bulk of our social media 😉). I’m so looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and the excitement that comes alongside a new season. I have some exciting concepts up my sleeve for this year and I can’t wait to start creating with you all.
