PSC Construction Technology Showcase: Tyler & Daniel have demonstrated exceptional dedication, spending countless hours researching, exploring, and refining their craft both in class and at home as they designed and built multiple custom jigs and developed advanced woodworking techniques for template creation, routing, shaping, contouring, and assembly. Even the finishing stages presented new challenges, leading them to explore a variety of dyes, clear coats, and finishing methods to achieve professional-quality results with their guitars.

The final products are a testament to their perseverance, craftsmanship, creativity, and willingness to take on increasingly complex challenges. They should be extremely proud of what they have accomplished. In addition to building their own guitars, these two gentlemen volunteered significant time repairing and refinishing numerous damaged guitars for the school, helping restore valuable equipment for future students.

Well done Tyler & Daniel!!

Field Day 2026! โ˜”๐Ÿ†

Grade 7 & 8 students weren't about to let a little rain and cloudy skies put a damper on an afternoon of fun! Our annual Field Day was packed with energy, teamwork, and plenty of laughs as students competed in events including the Car Wash Relay, Bucket Golf, Disc Slam, Water Dodgeball, Three-Legged Race, Sack Races, and the always-popular Kickball with Pools.

Throughout the afternoon, teams demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, determination, and school spirit while cheering one another on and making memories with friends.

To wrap up the day, we crowned our 2026 Field Day Champions and recognized students with awards for Most Spirit and Best Participation.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Kinley for organizing, and our teachers who supported and made the day such a success.

Rain or shine, Field Day 2026 was one to remember!

Ms. Hamiltonโ€™s class got an up-close look at the insect world this week! We were thrilled to welcome a guest entomologist from the University of Alberta, who led our students in a fascinating, hands-on study with ants.

From tracking behavior to learning about colonies, our young scientists got a real taste of field research. A huge thank you to the U of A for inspiring the next generation of researchers, and to Ms. Hamilton for creating such an incredible, experiential learning opportunity that brought big science in small packages!
